The Whole armour of God. Read: Ephesians 6 v 10-18

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.1 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Therefore, take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day and, having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girded about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness,

15 and your feet shod with the preparation of the Gospel of peace.

16 Above all, take the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God,

18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.
Why ? because we are in a battle. A spiritual battle

The devil “Satan” wants to and will ( If you let Him)
1/ Deflect you from your course
2/ Discourage you
3/ Divert you from your purpose
4/ And if possible destroy your faith ( It is possible)

He is a thief, a liar and a murderer John 10 v 10 John 8 v 44
Do not be afraid of him.

For the Word of God is: Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4 v 7
Perfect love cast out fear

1 John 4 v 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear, because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

put on put on that new man,
Ephesians 4 v 24 and that ye put on that new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Put on Christ

Galations 3 v 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ, have put on Christ.

Col 3 v 10 and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him that created him,
Put on charity,

Col 3 v 14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

Col 3 v 12 Therefore, holy and beloved, as the elect of God……

Put on hearts of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering,
Put Off
Ephesians 4 v 22 that ye put off, concerning your former manner of living, the old man which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts,

Colossians 3 v 8 But now ye also put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

Colossians 3 v 9 Do not lie one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds,
2 Peter 1 v 14 knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shown me.
