Serving God with Good Works .

Good works do not save a soul but after a soul is saved God has a plan for their lives which he reveals in prayer and through His Word

James 2 v 20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath beforehand ordained, that we should walk in them. Eph 2 v 10
that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly equipped for all good works. 2 Timothy 3 v 17

in all things showing thyself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing incorruptness, seriousness, sincerity, Titus 2 v 7
This is a faithful saying, and these things I enjoin that thou affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men. Titus 3 v 8

Moses

when your fathers tempted Me, proved Me, and saw My works forty years.

Hebrews 3 v 9

Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

James 2 v 17

Yea, a man may say, “Thou hast faith, and I have works.” Show me thy faith apart from thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works.

Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?

How do we find this plan ? Reading the Bible every day. Praying and waiting on the Lord. The Lord will speak .

God Speaks through His Word
This is often confirmed That is the same Word comes in another way. Through a tract or hearing a preacher or by the Spirit. You may have a dream or a vision. Or your heart is burdened.

The circumstance of your life will also be in accord with the Word.
You will have peace in your heart.

You will have the “witness of the Spirit “. The Spirit witnesses with our Spirit that we are children of God.
