And the Lord said “say not that I am a child for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thou shalt speak,   V 8  Be not afraid of their faces   for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord” Jeremiah 1 v 7

I had been invited to speak at a small mission and got to prayer. As I waited upon the Lord I had a vision.  It was as if I could see inside the mission hall  and the floor open up or rolled back  Underneath I was horrified to see a pit and of snakes. They were venomous and I felt the hatred and venom directed at me.. It was awful as surveyed the scene and I wondered what it meant.  I prayed Lord what it the Word.  Te Lord directed me to Phil 3 v 18. ”Many walk of whom I have told you often and now tell you even weeping that they are enemies of the cross of Christ”

It was a difficult day when I stood to give out this text in the mission and as I preached the Word I felt the enmity and venom of those snakes.  God had warned me in advance.  The word was not accepted and I was not asked to return but I had peace knowing I had been faithful.
