Colony

Colony:   Pastor Raja continues to minister in the Church of the Good Shepherd distributing -medicine – vitamins-eggs fruit and providing tools for the villagers to work in the fields.  The Lord also provided  a new water pump and 6 elderly folk without any means of support are receiving a regular pension.

Pastor Raja reports:  We visited Sheila’s Colony and shared the word of God. All the people heard carefully and strengthened by the word of God. We distributed pension to old age people. We distributed bananas to all the children and people who are in the colony. They conveyed their thanks to you.

A pensioner’s testimony: – when she was suffering from fever with heavy temperature and there is no anybody to care about her. At that time she went to hospital and used her pension for treatment. All the pensioners are benefiting in such a way through your supports and your prayers.

We visited Jails and preached the gospel. All the prisoners strengthened by the word of God.

Historical Village:  The Lord did “Great and Mighty things”  in this village where many were saved and following prayer were wonderfully  healed.  DBM sent gifts to build a small church  called  the” Redeemed in Christ” for the newly converted Christians.

Sheila’s Home:   In the last two years   and after training in mechanical  It and engineering  college courses  15 young men have left  the home to seek employment  in the last two years.  They will keep in touch with Pastor Raja  home  Pastor Raj is now admitting more fully orphaned children to the Home. The Lord has enabled DBM to support 70  3 children 35 in each home plus  two women helpers for Sunitha at Sheila’s Home and Beulah Peduyim Home,   all supported by DBM

Wedding:  Praise the Lord for the wedding on 12th August of Ravi and Sunitha.  Ravi was brought up in Sheila’s Home and after being educated and trained in engineering left the home to seek employment.,  He returned and requested believers baptism which was a great blessing  .  Following a testing time Ravi  seeking employment in Hyderabad returned to the Home to testify at the Thanksgiving meeting which was very moving.  Sunitha is a Christian and has a Christian family.

Security Wall:  The Lord enabled Pastor Raja to commence building a security wall around the Home as animals were fouling the play area  and villagers and others were intruding on the Home grounds. We thank the Lord for providing the  funds and can report the wall is now completed.   

PPF , Peduyim Pastors: fellowships in Bapatla. The pastors continue  reaching out to evangelise  in the villages seeking out villages in remote region where the Gospel has not reached.

The PPF meeting holds Glory to God. Pastor David Raju and Pastor Babu specially prayed for Tony’s ministry and prayed to fulfil his thoughts for the works in India. All the pastors conveyed their thanks to you all.

Pastor Peter conducted gospel meetings in his village. Many people were attended. A wife and husband repented and confessed their sins in the presence of the Lord and also they baptized.

Pastor P. Simonuraju’s testimony: – He received some gift from PPF fund and bought books for his son for study. He conveyed his thanks to Brother Tony and Sister Sheila and trustees. 

Prison in Bapatla and Puna. Pastor Raja frequently reports  of  testimonies of souls being saved, of men repenting of their sins and committing their lives to Christ .

Bible College:   Sujan Pastor Raja son has now completed his first  year in Goa Bible college. Pastor raja and Sunitha received gift s which enabled them to visit Sujan . It was the first time Sunitha travelled on a train.

This year we have been able to complete the prayer hall on the roof of Sheila’s Home  Tony  was asked to dedicate it to the Lord  in February this year where the Lords name  was honoured   by the many testimonies .  Many pastors and village folk came to testify of healing of   Gods’ provision in the thanksgiving service arranged  in February 2011

Peduyim Home. In June this year pastor Nathaniel and Beulah admitted another nine orphans to the home to make up a total of 35 children . Two children will attend college and this will increase next year DV as  many of the children will begin  further education courses to equip them for work and careers.

Slum Village in Visak. Following a regular weekly gospel meeting   Pastor Nathaniel with other PPF pastors regularly give gifts  rice, vegetables , fruit  and other support to the poor and needy  in a slum  village.

Prisons Ministry:   Pastor Nathaniel visits Chodavarram prison where the Lord is saving souls 

Village evangelism:   Pastor Nathaniel has started prayer groups one in “Mopada Village” with currently 28 members  and another in Tallavassala Village with 20 members .   

Church Building.  The Lord provided funds for the building on eleven village churches where the PPF pastors as working

Philippines. The Lord greatly blessed the ministry in the prisons in Iloilo and Guadiana island earlier this year. Hundreds of prisoners responded to the Gospel many openly weeping and repenting of their sins accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour . It was an amazing experience the Lord saving souls and setting the captives free. 

Sheila  and Tony . For the last two years  both been deeply involved with “Home Educating”  grand children with lessons two or sometimes three days a week. This has proved a blessing, exhausting at times but always stimulating and rewarding. Both are making good progress.  PTL.

Bob Rosalie Petley    Bob and Rosalie visited both Homes in Oct/Nov 2010 where the Lord used Bob in his teaching of the “Second Coming of Christ” . Many pastors were touched and testified of the Lord’s blessings.

Post. Sadly some sponsors who have sent have letters and small gifts have found they have not been delivered.  We praise the Lord for this kindness but advicse that it is safer for small gifts to be given to us and we will send the money electronically and the Pastor can buy locally. This works well and is far better than losing the gift.
